Kick Off the Fair with Our Opening Parade!

Every year, the Hometown Fair begins with our beloved Opening Parade on Saturday morning — a true celebration of community spirit.

The parade is led by local Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops carrying the color guard and Fair banner, and closes with a lively performance by the Mira Costa High School Marching Band and Drill Teams.

The Manhattan Beach Middle School Choir delivers a stirring rendition of the National Anthem, followed by opening remarks from our Fair President and City Council Members.
